The wait is over, finally, Amnesia<\/strong> has revealed the details of the closing party<\/strong> for 2018. Needless to say, this is one you don\u2019t want to miss out on. Just like last year, this closing will be 12 hours of non-stop music<\/strong>– so get some rest before the party, you\u00b4ll need it! Everyone knows the best part of a party awaits towards the end of the night (or early morning). The doors open at 10pm on the 13th<\/sup> of October<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Amnesia<\/strong> has been one of the main clubs on the island since it\u00b4s opening in 1976<\/strong> by\u00a0Antonio Escohotado<\/strong>. His aim was a to provide a space for the people of Ibiza where their problems could be forgotten and where they could escape into a world far away from routine and rules- Amnesia<\/strong> was the fitting name for this vision, translating to \u201closs of memory\u201d in Latin. Almost half a century later, this environment is still maintained and felt at the club. An extraordinary environment which transcends you through energy, music and dance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year the lineup is even bigger: a fine-picked selection of DJ\u00b4s on Ibiza leading the same dancefloor on the same night. Amnesia have invited many DJ residents from their own parties to host the closing. Paco Osuna<\/strong>– a regular at Music On, alongside Do Not Sleep pioneer Darius Syrossian<\/strong>. Luigi Madonna<\/strong>, who lead the building of the new party Pyramid this season and the regular host De La Swing<\/strong> from Elrow as well as ABODE\u00b4s GW Harrison<\/strong>. If that wasn\u00b4t enough, there\u00b4s at least a dozen more artists with more still to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

Amnesia<\/strong> has had an extremely successful season this year especially considering the quantity of new parties it has introduced. Vibra, Pyramid and Abode<\/strong> were all brand new to the club and were accepted openly by fans of the club. With the exception of Vibra<\/strong> which is usually host to reggeaton<\/strong> music, Amnesia is known for its electronica, techno and house music<\/strong>-.expect to see genres similar to these in the closing party.<\/p>\n
